Twin Pregnancy Week 5

At week 5 of your twin pregnancy, your babies are about .05 inches long.

This is the week that many internal organs begin to form.  Babies’ skeletons will be forming at this stage as well.

Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins with sufficient folic acid in them.

Some women may experience breast soreness, increased urination, and/or excess saliva.  Nausea is also a very common symptom at this stage.  All of these symptoms may be exaggerated with twin or multiple pregnancies.

If you do not have an OB, I highly recommend that you find one. Being pregnant is very special and you need someone experienced to look after you during this time.
